I recently spoke at Central Christian and mentioned some very exciting things that are going on at Choices’ Medical Clinic including some photos and a recent heart-wrenching story. I have made arrangements for you to see the video of one of the services. You’ll need to have QuickTime installed to view it. You can get that here.
Once you have that, go here to see the video.

CHOICES MEDICAL CLINIC UPDATE
July 09, 2008 08:49 AM
I invested my 10 days with Choices Medical Clinic (my Pro-Life work in Wichita, Kansas) in May, where we saw a number of young women "accept Christ as Savior" and make decisions to "keep their children" rather than have an abortion!
PRAISE THE LORD!
That ministry, which is right next door to the largest abortion mill in the mid-west, is so exciting!! We, actually, have a number of women "call" or "come in" inquiring about the cost of an abortion. Some "stop by" to make an appointment.
Many "saves" are the result of "being where we are"!
Tiller, the abortionist next door, has his facility built like a "military bunker" and it is very un-inviting with the only entrance in the back of the building, through a driveway gate, which leads to a parking lot in the rear.
Choices Clinic is a beautiful new building ( it still looks new although it was built 10 years ago ) surrounded by lovely landscaping and flowers and has a very visable front entrance with parking right at the door! When you drive down the street you are actually "drawn" to it. Thus, our first contact with many of our clients comes as a result of them thinking they are at the abortion mill. This provides us the opportunity to tell them we offer a "different choice" than the abortion they are seeking.
What an opportunity!!!
We offer "free" pregnancy tests as well as "free" 4D color sonograms. We have three registered nurses and two doctors who are supported by over 40 trained volunteers who serve as counselors, demonstrating the love of Christ to all who come through the door. What a place!!
You can't tell I'm "sold" on Choices, can you!? Some of you reading this have "financially" made this ministry possible through the years. THANK YOU! I wish you would come by and see what you have helped create. God have MIGHTILY used you and babies "lives have been preserved" to bless many and numerous names have been "added to The Lamb's Book Of Life"!!!

SUMMER NEWS-2008
July 07, 2008 09:10 PM
Hey, dear friends, May and June were VERY "fruitful" months as well as "stressful" and July looks EXTREMELY busy!!
At the end of May I left Wichita with an "upper respiratory infection" which hung on for about a week after I got back to Florida. The worst part about it, however, is the fact that I was, obviously, contagious! Lois came down with it and with her, already, asthmatic lungs it REALLY hit her hard!!
Within a couple of days she was struggling to breathe and I took her to the hospital emergency room. They admitted her, immediately, and treated the pneumonia with steroids and anti-biotics intravenously for a week. She was also on oxygen 24/7 and was released to the home with it. The doctor is "weaning" her from it a few hours at a time each day but she still sleeps with it every night. The decision to cancel all of my dates in June, to stay with her, was an easy one to make. I became her nurse, housekeeper and cook for most of the month. I can hear some of you LAUGHING and saying something like, "If Bro. Joe's cooking didn't kill her NOTHING will!!" Shame on you!!
You would have been proud of me. It really was funny, however, when we look back on it! We proved that you REALLY CAN "teach an old dog new tricks"! I was ashamed about how "little" I knew about doing the laundry, cooking meals, cleaning and a dozen other chores around the house which need to be done, regularly!
Most of us are SO SPOILED, men!!!!! As I've often said, "If we have a good wife we should be on our knees every night giving The Lord thanks for her!!" I have realized that for a long time! Lois is "SO SPECIAL"!!! I'm so thankful for the day she said, "I DO" over 46 years ago !! Unbelievable! I'm getting "OLD"!!!! Don't laugh, so are some of YOU!!
Well, it's the week of July 7th and I'm back at it. I flew in from Florida yesterday and I'm in Wichita serving half (5) of my days this month ( I committed 10 days each month to Choices Clinic) with my Pro-Life work and this weekend I travel to Ravenwood, Missouri to consult with a church.
I speak Friday night and Saturday morning to their elders and staff about "Church Leadership" and "Church Strategy and Programming." They are very interested in church growth and reaching the lost with The Gospel message.
I fly back to the "Sunshine State" Sunday and then return to Kansas July 21st for a week. Please continue to pray for me for health, safety, and most of all "fruit" for The Kingdom and that it always be "To God's Glory"!! Thanks to those of you who are making this new ministry for me possible.
I love you, Bro. Joe

TRIP ANNOUNCEMENTS
March 04, 2008 05:02 PM
Hey, brothers and sisters, sorry it has been so long since I have written but I have been EXTREMELY busy!! God is SO GOOD and I am SO BLESSED getting to see so many lives changed, and saved, during my trips each month to Choices Medical Clinic in Wichita!
Every time I drive into the parking lot and see Tiller's abortion mill right next door I thank God that a pro-life clinic is so close!!
Just a few weeks ago we were just about to close for the day and a young woman literally "fell" through the door sobbing, with her mother on her heels! They had just left next door, where they had gone for an abortion, and at the last minute couldn't go through with it.
One of our "on-call" doctors was contacted and before long he arrived to do a sonogram to show them their baby, and this mother and daughter left rejoicing, about an hour later, that they had not made a terrible choice. That's just one account of many victorious moments experienced at Choices!!
What if Choices wasn't there?
Thanks to those of you who make it possible!
I also enjoyed recently being at Tomoka Christian Church in Ormond Beach, Florida for a leadership conference, where I taught on church growth and stayed the next day to meet with their church staff. Joe Putting is their fantastic senior pastor and they are running over 2,000 in a building which seats under 400!!
Pray for them as they try to reach even more with the gospel. Land has been purchased and they need to relocate and build as soon as possible!
Yesterday I attended and sang in the morning service at the exciting Summit Church in Wichita, Kansas where my great friend Terry Fox pastors. What a TERRIFIC opportunity this congregation has to reach people for Christ in their new facility on East Kellogg, which they will move into this next Sunday!!
It's LOVELY and what a preacher of The Word Terry is!! I predict this congregation will experience rapid growth!!
I'm ALSO EXCITED about my 14TH, that's right, 14TH trip to the HOLY LAND, coming up DECEMBER 8-16 of this year, 2008!! I've already had a number of folks "sign-up"! My good friend, Pastor Gene Williams, and his wife, Joyce, are over there this week with 50 people from around the country. Don Golledge, my co-host for the trip, and I have reserved 100 plane seats and hotel rooms for this tour in December; so "sign up" quickly, while there's still room, for what we are calling "An Early Christmas Celebration In Bethlehem"!
This will be a "LIFE CHANGING" trip for many!!!
Please take good care of yourselves and please keep my new ministry in your prayers. I hope all of you know HOW MUCH I love you!!!!
