MINISTRY UPDATES

Hey, dear
friends, what an EXCITING week I have just spent in
COLORADO! First, I helped David Lee with "Justice
For All", a Wichita, Kansas based pro-life
organization, with a day of training for the "Focus
On The Family Institute" students, who were
gathered at the beautiful "Focus" facility in
Colorado Springs. Each year three semesters,
offering 15 hours of college credit, are offered to
juniors and seniors from around the world in
ethics, morals, values and leadership. Eighty-eight
students are "hand-picked" for each semester from
as many as five-hundred applicants! It warmed my
heart to know that these exceptionally gifted young
men and women were going to be placed in key
leadership roles around the world with a strong
"biblical" world view! What a difference they can
make in our society! Two days later they would join
us to work at an anti-abortion exhibit erected on
the University of Northern Colorado campus in
Greeley. Later that day I met with individuals from
the leadership team at "Focus" to discuss
opportunities for me to do some work around the
country for the "Focus" ministry. I'm "honored" and
find that possibility very
interesting.
The next day we traveled to Denver to train high school students from Faith Chapel Christian Academy, a large school of over 1,200. After going through the special "pro-life" training they would then join us on one of the four days the exhibit would be on the Northern Colorado Greeley campus, to defend the "un-born". This experience with the JFA exhibit on a college campus is one every Christian who loves life and deplores abortion should take part in. EVERYTHING is done in the love of Christ and with a sweet spirit. Each person, pro-life or pro-choice, friendly or angry, is treated with respect and concern. Every volunteer is constantly reminded that we want to receive those who stop to talk and debate the exact way Jesus would receive them, with compassion and a desire to tenderly help them. It is a real challenge but greatly helps build maturity and patience. Get to know the JFA staff. They are all some of the finest people I have ever encountered!! They have a fantastic unique ministry! Hearts and minds were changed; babies were saved! Praise The Lord!!
